Alzheimer's disease also called senile
dementia is a progressive brain problem or terminal disease which cannot be
revered or cured that make it difficult for someone to completed daily tasks
such as decline in thinking, behavioural and social skills that disrupt a
person ability to function on their own without the help for many.
Alzheimer's disease is the most common
cause of dementia( a general term for memory loss) among elderly people. The
early signs of the disease may be forgetting recent events or conversation. As
the disease progress, a person with Alzheimer's disease will develop severe
memory loss and lose the ability to carry out daily tasks. There is no
treatment that cures Alzheimer's disease or change the disease process in the
brain.
SIGNS
AND SYMPTOMS OF ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE
1.
Forgetting some information like names or appointment occasionally and not
remembering them later.
2.
Feeling exhaust or get tired of work.
3.
They show rapid mood swings from calm to tears to anger for no reason.
4.
Getting confuse about time and place.
5.
Dressing inappropriately like wearing little cloth in a cold day and several
layers of cloth in warm day.
6.
Making poor decision and judgement.
7.
Getting lost in their own neighborhood.
8.
Difficult to respond effectively to everyday problems such as food burning on
the stove or unexpected driving situation.
9.
Repeating statement and questioning over and over again.
10. Misplacing possession and put things in an
unusual places.
11.
Delusion such a believing something has been stolen.
12.
Forgetting the names of family member and everyday objects.
13.
Difficult in concentrating and thinking, especially about concepts such as
number.
14.
Inability to manage finances, balance, checkbooks and pay bills on time.
