 Considering the title of today’s Food Nutrients and Health, we might just be thinking about what is meant by this sentence. Yes but calm down it's just an English language proverb.

 Firstly, every one of us like eating an apple because it's an edible fruit and good looking fruit with red or yellow or green skin and sweet. An apple is also used to describe any round fruit that grew on a tree. An apple is also thought to be the forbidden fruit, eaten by Adam and Eve's in the Garden of Eden, every one of us is familiar with the story. But we know that might not necessarily be true.
Meaning of an Apple
An apple is a native Eurasian tree widely cultivated in many varieties, its firm rounded edible fruits. Apples have a good claim to promote health. They contain vitamin C, which aids the immune system, and phenols, which reduce cholesterol. They also reduce tooth decay be cleaning one's teeth and killing off bacteria.

Apples protect brain cells against neurodegenerative disorder like Alzheimer’s disease.
 An apple a day keeps the doctor was coined in 1913; the proverbial advice to eat an apple a day first appeared in print in 1866. The daily apple eaters in the study we're more likely to successfully avoid prescription medication use than people who didn't eat apples. It began usage at the end of the 19th century. The background for the proverb was that at bed time it was served either a fried filled with Caraway seeds or a fresh apple with Caraway seeds stuck in the apple.

1.         Apples are Nutritious
Like really, the apple fruit is also a storehouse of nutrients. It gives calories, carbs, fiber, vitamins A, B, C, E and K, minerals like potassium, manganese and copper. They are likewise very rich in polyphenols

Apples are great friends with that muscle in our chest called heart, because they are rich in polyphenols and anti-oxidants, which are much more contained in the outer skin. Flavonoid, a class of polyphenol, befriends the heart by lowering blood pressure and also being an antioxidant. Research also reveals that apple eaters are at a lesser risk of stroke.
3.         Avoid Alzheimer’s disease
 A study on the benefits of apples shows that drinking apple juice could keep Alzheimer’s away and fight the effects of aging on the brain. The mice in the study that were fed an apple-enhanced diet showed higher levels of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and did better in maze tests than those on a regular diet.

Apples are full of naturally occurring compounds which actually help combat cancer.

Antioxidants prevent lungs from oxidative damages.
10.       Good for bone health
